Brighton attorney Suzanne Dugas has joined the ever-expanding list of hopefuls to replace retiring Probate Judge Susan Reck.
Dugas joins Hamburg Township Treasurer Roberta Valon-Baughn, Juvenile Court Referee Kathleen M. Oemke, and Carol Hackett Garagiola, legal and policy director of the Michigan's Domestic Violence Prevention and Treatment Board. The field might also include Howell attorney Robert "Bob" Parker, although he has not made a formal announcement.

Dugas believes her experience teaching with the National Judicial College distinguishes her from her competition.
