Walker wins recall election. Government unions cry in their beer.

It's nice to see that my $25 went to good use, and I rarely donate, especially to committees where I don't have some control. This was big. If Walker was recalled, then any reform in any state with any labor strength would be D.O.A. Michigan? With the MEA and SEIU? Forget it. Not if Wisconsin recalled Walker. That's how big this is.

 http://aoshqdd.com/ - With 78% in, Walker's up 200,000 votes. Also from Reuters
Reuters) - Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker will become the first governor in U.S. history to survive a recall election, television networks projected on Tuesday, a setback for labor unions and a boost to Republican hopes in November's presidential election. Major networks projected Walker would be the winner about an hour after the polls closed in Wisconsin in the divisive election that left families at odds and neighbors not speaking to each over Walker's push to curtail collective bargaining by public sector workers. With 29 percent of the vote counted, Walker led Democratic challenger Tom Barrett 60 percent to 40 percent, according to unofficial returns, although this was expected to narrow.
Because I feel like rubbing this one in because Big labor spends more time pushing democrats instead of protecting workers.

You just saw what an election bought and paid for by corporate special interests looks like. Dude, they don’t want or need your measly $25 bucks. Corporations spent $60 million to keep his sorry ass in the Governor’s seat so he can take more calls from David Kock and other rich CEOs, and they outspent working peoples almost 8-1.
I don’t know anyone “crying in their beer.” It just means I and other Democrats will just have to work harder to try and overcome all of that corporate cash, and I will have to suck it up and knock on more doors. Just like I did in Ohio when we beat back that attack on working people. The good news is that the exit polls show Obama will keep Wisconsin blue, and Democrats now control the state Senate.

First, there is no such thing as “Big labor.” If so, they could have matched the spending of the corporations. Labor spends time "pushing Democrats” because they protect workers. I’m amazed that anyone thinks otherwise.

Unfortunately the union thuggery that is the hallmark of the Recall Walker campaign gives collective bargaining a black eye that will never fade! Organized Marxist Labor operatives to not represent the rank and file worker. What cold comfort it must be to crow about the fallacious exit polls that definitively display the "Wilder" effect! Keeping one's head suspended in the fog of the unknown is right where we want you to be...

Really? Teachers, cops and firefighters are thugs? What world do you live in? Organized labor does represent the rank and file worker, and it created the middle class. No one’s “ head is suspended in the fog,” and we are working hard to make sure we do not go back to the policies that created the Bush recession, the longest and deepest since the Great Depression.

Some folks are accustomed to putting their objects in other people's mouths without consent...You are one of those? All those you mentioned see themselves first as their chosen profession and not slaves of the Union Plantation! The sad fact of being lost in the fog of the unknown is not seeing facts/truth until you crash into them! Wisconsin has shown us that union thugs dwelt in this fog and...

That makes zero sense. You cannot separate teachers, firefighters and police officers from their union, because they make up the leadership of the union. See, union members vote for their leadership from among the members. Slaves do not have a vote, and that is what you want. You are caught up in the fog to think teachers, firefighters and police officers are thugs.

You've obviously don't know what you ate talking about! How many shops did you organize? How many shop stewards elections did you participate in? When did you serve as a business agent? What? None? Figured as much. Rank and file don't have much say in apparatchiks that serve at the top, 'cept for an officer or two. The policy wonks are usually appointed from without and MAYBE worked a day or two at the actual trade they represent.

Shut up now and let me school you, Kevin! Anyone who intimidates is a THUG, be they a teacher, nurse, firefighter or police officer...no free pass. What's worse is that these folks work as servants of the people, not just to make their employer profit. This places them I'm higher bracket morally. Most are cognizant of this and act accordingly. I can tell you, for nothing, that many of them grow weary of folks like you who misuse them for political gain. Enjoy the fog my friend...

What rank and file has is a vote, and to my thinking, that’s a pretty potent weapon. Granted, I know Republicans don’t think much of democracy, but I do.

You can try and shut me up, but it’s not going to happen. And, from reading your rants, there is nothing you can teach me. And how have teachers, nurses, firefighters, police officer intimidated anyone? Yes, teachers, police officers and firefighters are public servants, but they have a right to a living wage, benefits and safe working conditions.

The only fog appears to be in your brain. Maybe you shouldn’t post right after coming home from closing down the bar.
