State House - District 2
Current Rep – Tim Bledsoe (D-Grosse Pointe) Alberta Tinsley-Talibi (Both D-Detroit)
GOP - Daniel Corrigan Grano (R-Grosse Pointe Park)
Dems - Alberta Tinsley Talibi (D-Detroit),
Update 8-30-2012 - Tinsley-Talibi wins the primary, beating several incumbents or former reps.
Update 5-16-2012 - This is a five way primary with three current or former state reps in Bledsoe, Cook Scott, and Tinsley. Grano is actually a strong republican, although the old 1st would have been much more favorable.

2010 Results - Old District (3rd)

This district is a combination of the 1st and some of the 2nd and 3rd. It adds Grosse Pointe Park, Grosse Pointe Farms and Grosse Pointe. The rest of the district is a large part of Detroit's East Side.
Tim Bledsoe is put in a bad spot. He has one term left and could have some trouble in a Detroit based district with his Grosse Pointe address. The primary will be one to watch. I don't know if Howze or Tinsley are in this district or different ones.
The primary will be the main election here. Most of the district is Detroit, which is almost always 90%+ democrat.
