Iron County is the fourth most democrat county in the UP in most years (behind Alger, Gogebic, and Marquette). It surprisingly went to Bush in 2004, although it was narrow. It flipped due to narrower losses in Caspian, a tie in Mastaton, and gains in Bates and Stambaugh. It’ll probably be competitive at the top of the ticket, but still strongly dem in local areas
