Bad company, that they can't deny. Bad Bad Company, till the day they die

To paraphrase Paul Rodgers, Bad Company. That's what the Nobel Peace Prize is these days. It is no longer about world peace, but world leftism. It is what it is.

2009 - Mr. Obama. His qualifications. Four Years in the US Senate and one year as the resident of the oval office. It was a grade many say was on "potential." The whole Obama campaign was "Yes we can" but the reality is "done jack squat."

2007 - Al Gore for his crusade in destroying the economy in the name of global warming.

2002 - Jimmy Carter, the worst president in my lifetime, and who is a major CAUSE of the problems in the middle east. (Iran) Ask Israel what they think of Carter.

2001 - The UN and Kofi Annan. The UN increasingly wants to control internal matters within countries, with the Kyoto and Small Arms treaties. What's peaceful about outsiders running our country?

1994 - Yasser Arafat. A Terrorist.

What's next. The ghost of Kurt Waldheim, former secretary of the UN?

On the other side of things, Mohandas K Ghandi is not on the list of winners.

So Congratulations to Mr. Obama. You're in bad company.

The sour grapes never stop. I wonder if they give a Nobel Peace Prize for supplying booze to underage kids in exchange for voting for them? Probably not.

How about Nelson Mandela, Elie Wiesel, Desmond Tutu, Mother Teresa and Martin Luther King just to name a few. Pretty good company. Plus, all but a misinformed minority would consider Al Gore and Jimmy Carter a bad choice, and you left out that in 1994 Arafat won with Shimon Peres and Yitzhak Rabin for their efforts to create peace in the Middle East. I can’t wait to her what you will say when Bill Clinton gets his award for his work. Who knows, maybe George Bush 41 will share the prize with him.

Guru, You are a pompous ass. The Joker was nominated 2-10-09, 13 days into his presidency. You really can't think he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.

Thank you. That means a lot coming from the likes of someone like you, hate the USA. Yes, I do, and so does the Nobel Committee.

Who's the Joker, by the way, hate the USA?

It is obvious that the crowd Listen Here in attendance did not seem to think he was "The Chosen One" as you do.The Nobel is now like a prize in a Cracker Jack box with 1 million attached.

You socialists are the very same persons who 40 years ago were smoking pot and wearing sandals and wanted "The Man Outa Your Face" and now the very same persons want to control every aspect of Americans lives.
The difference between a conservative and a liberal is best described like this
A conservative vegiterranean eats his salad and is happy with his life.
A liberal vegiterranean eats his salad and is pissed because the rest of the world is not eating a salad.

With David Letterman somewhat distracted, I thought I’d solicit nominations for a top 10 list. Here’s a few to start off:

Consolation prize for losing the Olympics

Who gives a rat’s you-know-what about Afghanistan, anyway

The Nobel Prizes in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology were already taken

“We couldn’t give an ‘un-prize’ to George W. Bush, and this was the next best thing”

For extraordinary diplomacy at the Gates-Crowley “Beer Summit”

“Obama? I thought we were giving it to Osama“

He was the 10th caller.

Al Gore had already won . . . ‘nough said

because Michael Jackson was unavailable

#1 Reason You know, Obama did claim to be qualified to take the 3AM call (or in this case the 5 AM call), but you conservatives never believed him.

Coming up in 2010: Obama wins Nobel Prize for Physics for walking on water..

Actually, hate the USA, President Obama is the Elected One. Although he was chosen by the Nobel Committee for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples. That is certainly true. The free world was so happy he was elected after eight years of Bush “diplomacy.”

You really do hate the United States don’t you? What is is it like to root against your country? When you watch the Olympics, do you root for the Chinese athletes? I’ll bet during the 1980 Winter Olympics you were rooting the Soviet Olympic Hockey team. Most people would be proud an American won the Nobel Prize, let alone their leader. But not you. You really do hate the USA.

I’m not a socialist, and 40 years ago I was in school. Even if what you said were true, it can’t be any worse than saying you hate the government, which is the people, then lie, steal and cheat to be the government like conservatives.

I’m not trying to control anyone’s life, but I want to make the world a better place to live. If it were not for liberals, when you were no longer able to work, you just starved. If you lost your job you starved. I’m proud to be a liberal.
